CARLO JESUS LOMUNTAD

Principal - BIR Audit Representation and Audit of Cooperatives

Carlo is a Certified Public Accountant who practices in a variety of areas of accounting, including taxation. With nearly a decade in the profession, he has extensive experience handling a variety of tax matters due to his exposure to various industries, including general services, construction, retail, and cooperatives. He is accredited with the Board of Accountancy, Bureau of Internal Revenue, and the Cooperative Development Authority. Carlo is currently a second year Law student at San Sebastian College Law – Manila.

Carlo is currently the tax principal of Caparros, Cendaña, and Co. where is responsible in representation of clients before BIR assessments and making clients “BIR audit-ready.”

GENE ANGELO FERRER

Principal – Business Development

Gene is a serial entrepreneur. He is presently the Vice President & Country Head of Zoomcar Philippines, a global start-up, and is changing the mobility industry by introducing car sharing into the market. He has successfully led the entry of MrSpeedy Philippines, known globally as Dostavista, into the logistics market in the country and delivered profitability in just 3 years since beginning operations. He previously held the position of Sustainability Officer for SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SM Prime) and SM Supermalls (Shopping Center Management Corporation) and is a Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist under the Global Reporting Initiative. Personally, he has ventured into the driving school business as a founding partner of the Ferrer & Geronimo Driving School and is also a part-time youtube vlogger.

RUSSELL STANLEY Q. GERONIMO

Principal – Legal


Russell Stanley Q. Geronimo graduated with a law degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law, and a finance degree from De La Salle University. He is a corporate lawyer specializing in M&A, cross-border commercial transactions, infrastructure financing and procurement, government contracts, special projects, and corporate and commercial practice. He was formerly the division chief of the Banking and Financial Institutions Division at the Governance Commission for GOCCs, under the Office of the President. He acted as a legal and procurement advisor to the DICT and NEDA on the National Broadband Plan. He was a consultant to the PPP Center on PPP projects of the National Government. He is the author of “Law and Finance” (2019, REX Education) and several academic journals on corporate governance, securities law, banking, and taxation. His paper on corporate securities has been cited by a U.S. court in a dispute involving a shareholders’ agreement and share redemption. He is a multi-sport athlete into running, swimming, hiking, obstacle course racing, cycling, trail running, boxing, badminton, tennis, wall climbing, wakeboarding, target shooting, and freediving.
