About the Partners
ROBERT EMMANUEL V. CAPARROS ()
Founding Partner
Robert had a solid and progressive experience in the profession gained from exposure to various client sectors that included hotel, gaming, manufacturing, industrial, and health care services. Notwithstanding the rigor that the CPA profession demanded, Robert still had managed to be active in civic and religious works in CFC Youth and Singles for Christ, Gawad Kalinga and Rotary Club of River City Marikina.
After passing the CPA Licensure Examination in 2012, he started his career at Isla Lipana and Co. (PwC Philippines) as a Tax Consultant where he handled moderate to complex tax case reviews. He then worked at R.G. Manabat and Co. (KPMG Philippines) as an External Auditor handling end-to-end audits and other ad-hoc engagements. With the meaningful experiences gained from two of the world’s Big Four accounting firms, he decided to exercise his skills in the shared services sector and the gaming industry. Robert also held the position of Senior Auditor at Fiducia LLP – Manila, a firm of Public and Chartered Accountants based in Singapore. Together with Christian Cendaña, he founded Caparros, Cendaña, and Co. and propelled the firm to commercial success through exemplary business development expertise.
CHRISTIAN FEV E. CENDAÑA
Founding and Managing Partner
Christian began his career at Universal Robina Corporation (URC) as a Risk and Compliance Analyst. He then fully immersed himself in the CPA profession when he joined Lopez and Co. CPAs (a firm regulated by the US PCAOB), where he rose through the ranks and was involved in various projects, including the design of corporate restructuring for conglomerates that considered the least amount of taxes, the drafting of position papers in response to BIR assessments that resulted in P100-million tax savings, the research and development of processes related to online filing of tax reports due to the US IRS, as well as the handling of correspondence related to IRS notices. He then moved into the consulting industry as Team Leader for Continnum, Inc’s Tax Accounting and Consulting Practice Unit. Christian is currently the Managing Partner of Caparros, Cendaña, and Co. where he is responsible for the firm’s overall leadership, the effective execution of the firm’s business direction and operating strategies, and the management of client engagements involving cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, process implementations, international taxation, and opinions on advanced accounting and regulatory matters. Christian is also a part-time college lecturer in auditing, financial management, and taxation.

MARISOL C. REYES
Partner
Marisol is a CPA with more than a decade of experience in auditing, consulting, accounting, and taxation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Cum Laude. She began her professional career as an audit associate at SyCip, Gorres & Velayo & Co. (SGV – the Philippine member firm of Ernst & Young Global), where she gained exposure to a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, real estate, retail, and asset management. Following SGV, she moved into the BPO sector as a Senior Accountant in Citco International Support Services Limited where she was responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of the clients’ financial reporting requirements. She assumed leadership role in Vista Residences, Inc. and Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc. as Accounting Head where she was tasked to advise on investment activities, provide strategies based on interpretation of financial information, analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and to compare company’s actual performance to business plans. She also worked in the Gaming Industry as a Finance Manager in an exhibition and event management company. Marisol is currently a partner at Caparros, Cendaña, and Co., spearheading the business development and operations of the firm’s Virtual Accounting Services business unit. She likewise acts as the Quality Assurance partner for the firm’s audit and special engagements.
